I build brands as systems, not as single deliverables.
A logo means nothing if the packaging contradicts it. A campaign fails if the social feed looks like it belongs to a different company. I think about how every piece connects before I design the first one.
That instinct came before the theory. At Tarang Decor I ran visual communication for the official Iranian distributorship of NMC and Cement Design, two European brands with strict identities. The job was to sell their products in a completely different market without breaking what made them work. At Art in Rug I started from zero: naming, logo, identity system, packaging, website, social, exhibition stand. One visual logic across all of it.
In 2022 I stopped taking only client work. Life doesn't have to run on one fixed track, and I didn't want to keep producing the same campaign logic without asking why it works. I moved to Augsburg for a Master's in Transformation Design, finished it with a 1.3, and used the years in between to travel, make art without a client brief attached to it, and show it: a group exhibition at the Joe McCauley Gallery in the US ("Being a Woman", 2022), and a performance called "Woman, Life, Freedom" at TH Augsburg the same year. My thesis measured how public art affects wellbeing in a specific neighbourhood. Numbers, not opinions.
Now I work with both, and I design with more range for having spent that time away from client work. I design brand systems and I produce the assets myself: brand books, print ads, campaigns, photo and video direction, retouching, final artwork. I use AI daily for research, concept development and image generation. And I check results, not just aesthetics.
Seven years, five countries worth of clients, three languages.
